Hi Jo, naturally Portra’s color rendition is a bit on the muted side. Combine that with bright overhead sun and the photos ended up having just a tad less saturation than I wanted. Hence, Kodak Ektar 100 may have been better. Additionally, considering the hours during which most of these were shot (mid-morning to early afternoon), a fast film (400 ISO) was not a necessity. I could have gotten by just great with the 100 ISO speed of Ektar. However, Paris in Ektar just doesn’t ring the same way does it? :)
